This toddler-friendly protein milkshake makes for the perfect breakfast or snack. Best of all, it’s a great source of protein, pre and probiotics, B vitamins, vitamin C, Zinc and Magnesium.
This recipe makes enough for you and your toddler (from 12 months+), and is also safe for breastfeeding and pregnant mums. I’ve used Unrefined Nutrients Kids Immune Protein for an added immune boost (and incredible strawberry flavour!).
It’s a great go to when you or your little one are under the weather, as it’s packed with nutrients and has a fun strawberry flavour. You can also make a vanilla or chocolate milkshake with Unrefined Nutrients other flavours.

Ingredients
Milk (3/4 cup): Used to blend everything together! Adds a lovely creaminess, and is a great source of calcium for strong teeth and bones. For dairy intolerance, you can substitute with your favourite plant-based milk of choice (oat, almond etc.).
Banana (1): Adds a lovely natural sweetness and fun fruity flavour. Bananas are a great source of potassium and fibre.
Strawberries (3-4): chopped and tops removed: Adds a fun berry flavour! Strawberries are also high in vitamin C, fibre and antioxidants.
Ice (6-7 cubes): Makes for a refreshing milkshake! You can use frozen fruit instead of fresh fruit (and leave out the ice), or you can leave the ice out all together (if you prefer a room temperature milkshake).
Unrefined Nutrients Kids Immune Protein (1 tablespoon) Strawberry Fort flavour: adds extra nutrients and provides a delicious, strawberry flavour.
How to make your protein milkshake
This milkshake couldn’t be easier to make! With just two step, it’s a great option for a quick, healthy, filling snack or breakfast!
1. Add all ingredients to a blender: Add your milk of choice (3/4 cup), banana (1), strawberries (3-4), ice (6-7 cubes), and Unrefined Nutrients Kids Immune Protein Strawberry Fort flavour (1 tablespoon).

2. Blend! Blend all ingredients until nice and smooth! This recipe is enough for both you, and your little one. Pour into cups and enjoy!
