OUR STORY
Unrefined Nutrients was founded by Nicola Inger Scruby — a mum of two (soon to be three!) and qualified nutritionist with a background in Clinical Nutrition, Health Science, and Pregnancy, Postpartum & Infant Nutrition. After years in a busy mothers’ clinic, Nicola saw first-hand how common nutrient gaps are for mums and kids — and how most supplements on the market were either full of additives, hard to absorb, or not suitable for both.
When her own toddler faced repeated daycare bugs, food aversions, and weight loss, Nicola began creating “immunity milkshakes” — wholefood blends packed with immune-supportive ingredients he’d actually drink. These shakes became the inspiration for our Kid’s Immune Protein.
Alongside Nicola, her partner Mitch — a GP — has been part of the journey from day one, ensuring every product is backed by evidence-based research and clinically supported ingredients.
